FAQ

Find quick answers about how ClimateAcc works, how we partner with donors and organizations, and how volunteers can contribute.

For Partners & Donors

What does “finance-ready” mean in practice?

“Finance-ready” means turning a promising idea into a fundable, implementable project — with territorial diagnosis, governance roles, safeguards, measurable outcomes, and a realistic delivery plan.

Do you implement projects directly, or do you work through partners?

We typically work through trusted local and technical partners. ClimateAcc designs and structures territory-rooted solutions; implementation is led by organizations and governance actors on the ground.

How do you select territories and initiatives?

We prioritize biodiversity value, climate risk, local governance readiness, safeguards feasibility, and scaling potential beyond pilots.

What safeguards and governance principles do you follow?

Clear governance roles, accountability, inclusive engagement, environmental and social safeguards aligned with donor expectations, and monitoring/learning for measurable outcomes.

What kind of partners are you looking for?

Donors & funds, implementing partners, technical partners (MRV/GIS), and mission-aligned private sector actors supporting conservation finance.

For Volunteers

What volunteer profiles are you looking for?

Research & writing, donor mapping, concept notes, indicators/MRV, GIS/data, communications/SEO storytelling.

How much time commitment is expected?

Typically 2–6 hours/week for 4–8 weeks, with flexible short high-impact tasks available.

What does the onboarding process look like?

Application → alignment → matching → onboarding pack → light check-ins and feedback.
